Story Theatre
For Family entertainment, catch this fun troupe. They travel, set up their outdoor playing space, perform, and then pack up and move on to their next location.
Story Theatre 2025 offers a rollicking line-up of fables and stories from around the world, written and adapted by local playwrights, to be performed at festivals across the Sunshine Coast this summer.
Our repertoire includes classic children’s tales featuring a Princess and a Dragon, argumentative fowl, a Wise Rabbit with a propensity for giving very strange advice, a Turncoat Turnip, and a musical featuring a village in desperate need of a hero.
The plays are performed outdoors with minimal sets and costumes and give the young and young-at-heart audiences a taste of live theatre’s magic.
