Super Seniors – Gibsons
November 13 @ 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm
OPENING NIGHT!
Driftwood Players presents Super Seniors, Kathryn Shaw’s acclaimed comedy about three women over 105 who refuse to be defined by age. At the upscale Fairfield Seniors’ Residence, fierce Elizabeth, exuberant Hildy and song-loving Mildred navigate friendship, identity and independence in sharply different—and often hilarious—ways. Inspired by Shaw’s own family, Super Seniors pairs irreverent humour with a warm, clear-eyed celebration of agency, joy and dignity in later life. Following an enthusiastic response to an Off the Page reading at Heritage Playhouse, Driftwood Players now brings the Main Stage production to:
- Heritage Playhouse in Gibsons Nov. 12 -22
- Pender Harbour School of Music Nov. 28 and 29.
$25. Tickets are also available in person at Fong’s Market (Gibsons), MELOmania (Roberts Creek), Sechelt Visitor Centre (Sechelt), and Harbour Insurance (Madeira Park).
