Story Theatre workshop
May 11, 2024 @ 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Driftwood Players is preparing its 2024 Story Theatre Team to present lively shows at summer festivals on the Coast.
Story Theatre is based on the tradition of itinerant theatre troupes which travel from town to town, prepared to set up and perform in town squares, with minimal costumes and staging. The stories are developed in workshop by the cast from fairy tales, myths and legends. They often present a moral message.
If you are curious to participate with this fun summertime activity, you are invited to a workshop on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at St. John’s United Church, from 12 noon until 5 pm.
If you are interested in performing or otherwise assisting with this fun summer project, or simply curious as to what is involved, please come along!
It would be helpful to let Linda McTurk know in advance at mcturks@gmail.com, but you are welcome to just show up.
